A New PB Mirror
I went for a session on my local membership (Rush Lyvas) arriving a bit later than normal at around 9am.
I’d been down a couple of days before and had a 16:5lb out and was confident that conditions would mean they’d still be on the same spot.
The session didn’t start off too well as, after setting up the rods, I realised I’d left my spod at home so off I popped to grab it.
I got back at the lake around 10.30am and was finally able to get started!
I then put out 4 spods of hemp, maggot, corn, micro pellet and a mixture of bollie over each rod at around 10 wraps out.
Both rods went out over the spots on a running lead system, a size 8 Ronnie with a sticky krill pop- up.
I was BUZZING when I saw the scales
They’d only been out about 15 minutes when a phone call from a mate was interrupted by a drop back on my right rod. I dropped the phone and hit into it.
The next few minutes were taken up wrestling a hard fighting beauty but. I finally managed to slip into over the net
I was BUZZING when the scales showed I’d beaten my previous mirror pb by 4lb. It also beat my overall PB 7oz
