Chapel Lake Swims Guide
Chapel is ~ 5 acres with plenty of features and averages around 4ft deep.
Peg 4 has a shack should you want to use it and can be a double swim should that suit
Note distances shown are approximate and are not swim boundary markers
Average depth is 3ft and features include four islands to fish to.
First island on the left has a bar on the corner of the island three-quarters of the way to the opposite bank.
On the fourth island halfway across from Lazy Boy there is an old reed bed about 6ft x 8ft in size.
Fish about 3ft from the islands, no need to use a marker rod or lead about!
Here we have one of the deeper swim areas of the lake at about 6ft.
The right hand margin is reedy and there are several bars crossing in front of the swim.
There are over fifteen other features in front of this swim!
The bottom is hard clay
Straight out in front of this swim is a long ‘L’ shaped bar about 8ft – 10ft long.

On the right hand side of this swim is a tree stump which can be worth fishing off
Straight out in front of the swim is a bar halfway across to the long island plus several other bars.
On the left hand side you can cast to the back of the island where there is an old tree stump.
No need to use a marker rod or lead about!
